Confirm Your Travel Plans
Confirm international flights 72 hours prior to departure. International travelers should reconfirm ongoing and return reservations with the airlines at each destination.
Prepare for Airport Check-in
Security has been heightened at most airports and the rules of travel are continuously changing.
  • Allow extra time for parking, ticketing and baggage check-in. Arrive at least 2-3 hours prior to departure time, depending on whether you are flying domestically or internationally.
  • Keep a government-issued ID (driver's license or passport) readily available.
  • Limit the amount of baggage you take. Be prepared to have all bags opened and searched thoroughly.
  • Do not use airport time as extra office time. Refrain from lengthy cell phone calls or laptop work.
  • Keep your eyes up and pay close attention to your surroundings.
  • After landing, go directly to the baggage claim area to pick up your bags and leave the airport quickly.
